AST: The home website of the Association of Surgical Technologist. Info on certification, upcoming events, current happenings in ST, and a very active forum board.

SurgeryChannel.com: This site will come in handy later on. It's full of surgical procedures, descriptions, and complications.

Trauma.org: As you guessed. This site goes into conditions, and injuries involving trauma cases. There's a image gallery of cases that's not too graphic.

Rotten.com: warning! This site is very graphic, the only reason i listed it here is because there's a lot of OR pictures that people must have smuggled out. So if you really want to see heavy duty trauma cases or what happens to the human body when accidents or tragedy happens, go here. Remember..... Youv'e been warned!

Realm Of The One: Enter the "realm" for entertaining movie reviews by one of our fellow students. I won't give away his name. I'll let you see for yourself!

The Surgical Technologist This is very useful active message board that I highly recommend ( I'm a member )Working techs and students hang out there.

Medical View A nice site that actually has online video of procedures. Very cool. Make sure you have real player or media player to watch. I'm on 56k and the videos loaded pretty fast. Thanks to "All About Meg" for sending in this link.

I'll add more as i discover the good ones. If you know of any good sites, send it to me.
